Part of the aftermath of Christmas involves integrating all of the new things into one’s household. Suddenly, here’s a whole pile of stuff without places! For example, I am going to have to begin rethinking my scrapbooking tool storage soon (only partly because of the punches I received as Christmas gifts), Ariel has a number of new toys that need homes, Sophia’s toys are no longer all small enough to fit in an itty-bitty basket, and we need to make more space on the bookshelves. (I think that needing more space on the bookshelves is always a good problem, though.
) I don’t think there are any “tricks” to this (aside from getting rid of the old things one no longer needs) - it’s just a task that has to be tackled.
