To Be Homemakers
(Cleaning)

This section is accompanied by a vintage image of a woman scrubbing a floor, and the following verse:

The first thing in here is a zone rotation list. I adapted this list of zones from FlyLady. I liked the concept, but my "life" is on a four-week rotation, so I needed only four zones.

Next I have a list of what I call "Deep Cleaning Reminders." This is a list, by room, of everything that needs to be done when that room is deep-cleaned. The list is in order (dusting cobwebs before dusting before vacuuming, etc.), so I can just go right down the list.

This is followed by a "spring cleaning" list from The Frantic Woman's Guide to Life. It's probably not really necessary, since most of it duplicates my deep cleaning reminder list, but it does have a few other odd jobs on it.
