Disclosure Policy
This policy is valid beginning October 17, 2007.
This is my (Rachel Ramey’s) personal blog. I write it. I edit it.
I am a stay-at-home wife and mama with a tight budget, and I enjoy the opportunity to make a few extra dollars here and there. As a result, I do accept sponsorships, paid insertions, reviews, etc. for compensation. Sometimes I insert contextual links in my posts; these should not necessarily be considered endorsements by me of the products, services, or ideas at the linked sites. I also may occasionally be paid to review products, and/or may review a product I get to keep. I will never give a less-than-honest review of a product or service, for any amount or type of compensation. If I rave about a product (which does sometimes happen!), I really did love the product! I usually try to be very specific about the pros and cons of a product or service, so it should be pretty clear that I’m not being bought off.
Odd wording here or there, or unusual post topics may be prompted by particular contextual link assignments, but the ideas contained in them are my own, and I enjoy the challenge to my creativity (which generally needs challenging).
I believe in word of mouth marketing, including standards of honesty of opinion and relationship (of myself to an advertiser).
If you would like to take part in some word of mouth marketing yourself, with “bonuses,” check out:
